Questions about the Kenwood HD30GB9
Thanks for all the replies guys and gals!! By the looks of it, it IS worth the plunge. Just wondering, how is the interface? Is it something easy to work with? I've read about hissing in Kenwood players. Any audible hiss in this DAP? I'm using the UM1 and if there's any hiss it'll be a...- Sethie

Questions about the Kenwood HD30GB9
Due to impulse, I feel like getting the Kenwood HD30GB9. So before I go and waste about $500, I would like to know from owners out there if it's worth the plunge? I'm always ordering this from pricejapan and am wondering if any of you did. It would be a pain if I can't figure out how to...- Sethie

Shure's Push-To-Hear
I'm really interested in Shure's PTH piece of hardware. Is it possible to buy it and use it for any IEMs out there or is it just specifically for Shure's E500? I own a UM1 and would love to get this if it works with my UM1.- Sethie

How to improve isolation of sony mdr-ex90 ?
I used to own the EX81's, and I've only seen pictures of the EX90's, so if I'm wrong, just ignore me. You can try foamies that other IEMs use. They may help because they really do isolate on my UM1's. The silicons on the EX81's were pretty good already, about 75% performance of the foamies...- Sethie

Total Bithead
Am using the Creative Zen Micro, not a pc cause this pc that I'm using has a superbly crappy audio card (It's an onboard Pentium 2 motherboard audio card). I am thinking of getting the PX100 to accompany this new amp that I'm thinking of getting. Man...Head-Fi is surely making me poor XD- Sethie

I hate audiophile posers...
Whoa...never knew there were posers in ear/headphones. It seems to me like I'm the only one who owns a Westone UM1 over here in Perth, Australia (I certainly hope not). And rarely do I see anyone else with an IEM. I do see some people with Sennheisers such as the PX250, or HDxxx but that's a...- Sethie

NEW Sony EX90LP
Isn't it unfair to compare these Sony's to the Super.fi 5 Pro IEMs? I just had a thought...do correct me if I'm wrong. I'd like to know how these compare to the Ex81's because I used to own one of those and know how they sound. I pretty much liked my Ex81 =)- Sethie
