DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***
Can the DX200 be used as a DAC/headphone amp for an iPhone 7? If yes, does it need the camera connection kit? If no, will this feature be added via firmware? Thanks- bpchia

I have deleted the playlist files off my DX100 but when I hold press on a song and select "add to playlist", all the old playlists are still there and I have to scroll down to the end of the list for my newly added playlist. Is there any way to definitively delete playlists other than a factory...- bpchia

Hi, I'm on 1.4.2, can I do gapless for playlists with different albums? I'm currently losing the beginning 1-2 secs of songs. Gapless is set to native. Thanks.- bpchia

I have done the following: -turned DX100 off -connected DX100 to PC with microUSB -hold volume+ while pressing reset >2 secs -doesn't seem to search for driver (Win7) -no unknown devices in device manager -open formatting tool v1.4 -change to English -there is a magenta/pink colour in the number...- bpchia

Hi, I'm having trouble using the formatting tool v1.4. I'm connecting the DX100 via USB, then holding the volume+ button while pressing the reset button with a paperclip for a few seconds. The DX100 boots up and then asks whether to turn USB storage on. I wait a while and nothing happens...- bpchia

OK, will try, I did put it in upside down but was afraid I wouldn't be able to get it out again because it went all the way in and had to use tweezers to get it out.- bpchia

I just got a Sandisk microSD 64GB card and I'm having trouble inserting it into the slot. It won't "catch", it ejects itself. I have uploaded a video of me attempting to insert it here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16252691/IMG_0168.MOV , am I doing it correctly? Thanks for any help :)- bpchia

Thanks Lee...did you manually create a playlist for each album or is there an automated method? Why do you feel the playlists work better? I haven't had any problems so far with browsing by artist, etc, but I've only had my DX100 for a few weeks. Also please see post 9898 for more questions...- bpchia

Earsonics SM3 Appreciation Thread - Third Time is a Charm?
Does anyone have the model IDs for the Knowles Acoustic Dampers that fit the SM3s? Do you need the plug or the screen or both? Would be great if someone could do a YouTube video of removing and replacing clogged filters on the SM3 as I understand it's not as easy as say the Etymotics (I had the...- bpchia

Sorry, the reason would be so we can both listen to the DX100 at the same time. Would a splitter (ie 3.5mm to 2x3.5mm) be any safer for the IEMs?- bpchia

Is it fine to connect a pair of IEMs to BOTH the 1/4 and 1/8 jacks? I will be travelling with my partner and wanted to do this instead of using a splitter cable. The IEMs are SM3s and Ety ER4, will the sound be noticeably degraded by having both connected as opposed to either on their own?- bpchia

Thanks. Anyone replaced clogged filters with the Knoweles acoustic dampers? When you use your Klipsch tool are you just taking the tip off and cleaning the canal of the tip, or actually cleaning out the nozzle?- bpchia

I'm the new owner of some SM3 V2 IEMs. I'm experimenting with tips but had a question about the filters. 1. Where do I get replacement filters? Are the filters the same as the Etymotic ones? 2. Do I use an Etymotic filter removal tool or similar to replace filters? 3. What is...- bpchia

So the startup pop won't damage the actual IEMs as opposed to my ears? If that is true, why are people going to the trouble of using the 6.3 to 3.5 adaptor and unplugging IEMs during power on/off when can just take them out of ears? There will still be some wear on the IEM connector doing this...- bpchia

I'm the happy new owner of a DX100. Got a couple of initial questions: 1. Can the "pop" sound on powering on damage my SM3 IEMs? Or can I just wait until after the unit powers on to put the IEMs on? Any other reason to unplug the IEMs when powering on or off? 2. Does the rooting procedure...- bpchia
