I own a DX100 which makes it more annoying how Ibasso can have DSD support in basically one version of the same product but not the other. You would think it would be relatively easy for Ibasso to address this inconsistency for their customers who paid top dollar for their high end audiophile DAP

Does the Third Anniverary play 24 bit WAV bit for bit or does it down sample to 16 bits? How is the sound quality compared to 16? If that is the case then Colorfly is incorrect on their claim that the C4 was the first Hi def Dap on the market

Which software do you use to rip to 24 bit WAV and can it convert FLAC to WAV and if so is there a loss in sound quality?

Another vote for the HF-5 but I got the ACS custom tips with them and the comfort and isolation are phenomenal. With prices going down on the HF-5, the total price with the tips should fit within the $250 price range.

Well, now it is a hardware issue because the battery is dead and I cannot recharge it. Tried different wall sockets. The AC adaptor is similar to the iriver H100 series and it works on the iriver, but nada on the Ibasso. As stated ad nauseum in every George Lucas film, I'm getting a bad feeling...

Hello everyone. I also downloaded the new firmware. The problem I have is that the battery will not charge when I plug the AC adapter and connect to the player. I did a soft reset and it did not solve the problem. I will ask Ibasso, however, you guys have a much better response time.

You agonize over your decision to buy a source weeks after perusing every message board, review, etc. you can find, finally, making a decision and then agonize again when you see another post for a source different from your original choices.
