I just recently received my Element. I've paired it with the HiFiman 400i's. At first I was a little disappointed...UNTIL I read the damn manual. Boy does this impress a novice! I had a Micca Origen+ it was nice, but I couldn't get over the driver issues in Windows 10. The power this amp/dac...

Oh man I would have loved to go. I haven't been to a meet since the original Can Jam in SoCal. Work calls in SoCal unfortunately.

I really want to go... Need to find a sitter. No gear for me. I'm starting all over again.

I really like the my Q701's on a Heed Canamp and Schiit LYR (russian tubes?) and fiio E10.  All of them are warm amps.

At the OC meet, I used my AKG Q701's (really the same headphones) and the Fiio 10 (under $100) was a very good and warm portable. I has bass boost which helps with the low's and can actually power the K's and Q's.

Got to test this out with Q701's at the OC meet. It did great job taming the power hungry 701's. With the bass boost it gave the headphones more punch and gave the 701's more warmth. Evened the highs and mids with better bass.
