Can anyone recommend some great earbuds that are not sound isolating? The shures are interesting (nice looking), but I don't want to isolate a lot of sound. I prefer something that sits in the ear, not into the canal. Any suggestions? sub-$100 preferable.

One side of my sennheiser 280pro's is slightly louder than the other.... it sounds a touch more "open" on my left ear piece than the right. is this normal? [i'm in the 40-50 hours range of burn-in] is there any way it'll cure itself? or anything i can do? i'm wondering if I should...

I was thinking, maybe it would be better to take a phono signal [technics 1200] and use a separate pre-amp and bring it into the mixer @ line-level, then letting the mixer do the phono-preamp...... would this yield better sound quality? [for recording/etc.?] any phono pre-amps I should...

If one side is not playing & when I move the balance from left to right and it stays constant [the volume] on one side..... does that mean my headphones are dead [on that one side, & not fixable]??? It was working perfectly earlier......!!! Did I put the volume to high when I was burning...

After a week long of listening to the Senn 280 pro's, they still don't sound as "full" as I had hoped........... should I go for a bit longer? They've only gotten about 5-10 usage.......... *this is for studio purposes* My friend's Sony V600 sounded more "full" [not for studio purposes...

If you have a UPS [for cpu] and you have a lot of other additional accessories [subwoofer, speakers, monitor, etc.] that you don't want to neccessarily plug into the ups, can you attach a power strip into one of the ports on the UPS & plug the devices into the power strip? Is it harmful, or bad...
