any opinions about this headset for reference/recording purposes?

i'm in debate between this, 280 pro, and 7506/v6

I didn't know, there was a headset version of the K240DF. Anyway, it was a good option at its time, but nowadays it's obsolete, I'd say. It hasn't got enough extension, especially in the bass... And for home listening it's a bit too too lifeless, either.

The Sony's have it, hands down. AKG has no low end and are harder to drive.

The K240S on the other hand might work, if only little isolation is required - and it sounds great in home use, too...

but i've also heard the 280 pro has better extension & tightness than the sony's?
