I was lucky enough to snag these when they came back in stock I really like the build quality and finish on the cups, but I still find myself leaning toward my Grado SR80s for most of my listening. Definitely digging the increased bass though.

I just ordered a white one. I'll post up up some pictures when I get it... I just have to wait for it to arrive from Japan

sorry to bump an old thread, but do you guys with the etymotics ever find the sound to be really ear piercing? i had the er6 a while back and i used a sony nw-hd3. i just remember that the highs were extremely high and hurt my ears. now i've switched mp3 players to a samsung k3 and im looking...

i find itunes to be uber easy to use, and it also is a great organizational tool to tag song. if you wanted to transfer songs from a computer with no internet connection into your ipod, you could just keep the installation file of itunes on your ipod.

the nw-hd5 will set you away from the crowd. i have an nw-hd1 and people are usually like what is thatt!

i have an nw-hd3, and that would be how i describe the sound. it rocks i think by warm, he means its surrounding and makes you feel just emersed within the sound. correct me if i'm wrong, but thats how i feel about it

I was checking out one of the mods that someone did where they took off the silver cap and made a small hole in what was behind it, how much sound will leak from actually doing this and how much it leak as stock?

I'm thinking of getting the D66 Eggos off audiocubes, how do these do sound quality wise as compared to the E2c's? They look really awesome, and so far i've only heard good things about them.

Personally ER-6 < E2c's. I personaly felt that the ER-6's sounded really microphonic and the high highss were just painful to hear, it was just sharp and like throat cutting

What I noticed, swtiching from E2c's to ER6's is that the warmth is really gone. How does the ER6i do in this department?
