Alright, finalizing my headphone decision: 555 vs 590
i guess u could say my opinion is highly biased... but my vote had to go w/ the hd590. i've also notice the transition from positive ---> negative feedback recently on these too. sound, i love them. i used to own the bose triports, and i thought those were the best headphones in the world...- cozmo5050

Best headphones for use with Dolby Headphone? HD650 vs. DT880 vs. CD3000 vs. ??
the DT880's are the hottest looking headphones. i had to do a double-take wheni saw them. ok, the grado rs-1/rs-2's look cool too, but i like velour pads. ---wow....your 595's arent good enough for u?. i feel like a noob complimenting my 590's still.- cozmo5050

Best Bass?: Beyer 440 vs. Grado 225 vs. Senn 590
i think you will really like the 590's. Just to let u know, from personal experience.. the sound becomes smoother and fuller after burn-in. The treble may sound somewhat shrill at first, but thats expected of most 'new' headphones.- cozmo5050

What to invest for HD590?
i own the creative extigy, which i have hooked up to my desktop computer. Although it is a significant improvement over my ECS onboard soundcard, for the price of the extigy, i would not recommend it. I also notice that sometimes Creative exaggerates their specs on sound cards... (extigy is...- cozmo5050

Suggestions for headphones to use with my Ipod
although i love canalphones, most isolate enough to be deemed a hazard if youre walking around/near streets. u wont hear oncoming cars, pedestrians, etc. if money is a big concern, i would start out witth Sony Fontopia mdr-ex51's or ex71 as a starting point before venturing into more...- cozmo5050

2 questions concerning HD590…
i have only compared the 590's to the Bose triports, and i have to say... i used to think the Triports were the best headphones on earth, until i discovered the whole Bose scheme.... better sound thru marketing. HELP ---------------------------------> cheapest place to buy Beyerdynamic DT880 ???
the HD590's are actually my first pair of 'higher-end' headphones... so i dont really have a basis of comparison to anything else, except the Bose triports. music i usually listen to includes jazz and afro-cuban rhythyms, hip hop, ... a large variation actually. how is the comfort? build...- cozmo5050
