I can't claim to be a regular on this thread, but I bought my HD-600 in November 2004. I haven't used them much in the past few years, though. Most of the paint has come off the headband, but the HD-600 still sounds very good.

I'm using a Headsave Classic. I tried them with my Perreaux SHX-1 0.5, and it didn't work well at all. It sounded quite bassy and lacked detail. I listen a lot to the radio at home and in the car, but not to the local Clear Channel stations. We have a good public radio station that plays mostly classical music, plus an independent station and a public station that each play jazz. At work I listen to CDs.
