Oh, wow, I just checked my CD copy of the vinyl in question and the noises are there if you listen closely. Must be poor recording quality. Still, I'm curious as to why these are there, but it's probably not fit for this thread.  

I suppose I'll pop in with another question--do any of you rip your vinyl? I'm hearing odd artifacts in the rips, which I can probably attribute to the soundcard on my Mac. At least I'm guessing. What else could it be?   I don't really know how to describe it, but it's like the sound at 39...

I still love my Pro900s, but the silver, shiny caps on the cups are almost impossible not to scratch. Iif you have OCD about that kind of stuff like me, it's terrible.

I've had my Pro 900s for a bit over a week now, and I really like them. They are my portable cans, but I use them at home quite frequently.   That being said, they haven't pushed my HD650s off of their throne. They are still my favorite.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I still need to sit down and compare the filters, but it just seems so tedious.   I've had it on filter one since I started listening today. I think I'll make the switch to five now.

Picked up my Rega today. I've spent two hours with it so far. I like it more than when I auditioned it.   Anyway, what's everyone's experience with the filters?

The new Opeth track finally made me interested in the band. They've never been able to hold my attention before.   I love the Yes influence on "The Devil's Orchard."

I have a XA20ES and a KA2ES. Hope I can join the club.

Purchased the Rega today. It should arrive in my local store in three to four days. Super excited to join the club and to have an awesome DAC.
