You might want to look into Sugru and make your own little bumpers for the Mojo, since there are no mass produced cases available.  I'm probably going to be doing this for my Mojo soon.

This is just a guess, but I'm betting the adjustable ADEL module will have a significant affect on bass response, much more than it'll affect mid/high.  This could be a nice option to get the response you want via mechanical tuning, rather than EQ or using in-line bass-boosting potentiometers...

Any chance we could see a video of ADEL module production? I'm curious what goes into them, what the membrane is made of, etc. no way in hell I'm going to tear one open to find out!

The EL-8 and PM-3 also come close, with different compromises.  I don't understand why a headphone meant to be a simple portable option needs to complicate the design with dual cable inputs.  I'm willing to give up balanced input capability for the sake of a cheap, don't-care-if-it-breaks, 3.5...

I was just thinking, rather than an expensive manual ADEL module, I suspect it would be fine to just use the auto then have a simple non-ADEL plug for full isolation. Just an appropriate sized silicone plug. That should be really inexpensive to produce.

Anyone know where I can find a clear version of a 2-pin mic cable?  So far I've seen black ones at JH and 64 audio but no luck finding clear cable versions.

You may also want to consider the SE846.  They isolate very well, like all the SE models, and have very extended bass depth.  They were a tad on the large side, which is part of the reason I moved on to customs.

No, the headphone is not iPhone only.  The headphones come with a standard 3.5mm terminated cable.     The Cipher cable (which comes with the EL-8 Titanium at $100 premium over standard EL-8) is likely to be offered as an add-on accessory - this cable is iDevice only.
