    best amp for a dt770/80 under $100?

Im getting a pair of beyerdynamic dt770-80 soon, and have come to understand that they NEED amplification. This isnt really a problem, but I've only got 100$(canadian!) to play around with. so what should i do for a portable DT770 amp under 100? go vibe? PA2V2? Cmoy even? LDM+ looks too weak but...

need help deciding on portable cans

why does it all work? (amp gurus please look)

Im confused how adding a small power amp to your ipod apparantly "adds" quality, and imporves the sound of your headphone. how would it be any different than the signal coming out of the ipod? just bigger! if you put a clipped 60hz wave through a 200 watt amp, its still clipped, its still...
