Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread
Guess I spoke too soon. Even with the batteries replaced, the Hugo2 doesn't charge. I tried with different chargers. Something must be malfunctioning in the charging circuit...- Chikolad

Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread
That hasn't been the case for me. When the batteries died, I couldn't get the Hugo2 turned on for more than a second even with the charger connected (been using it with a 2Go as an always-on solution). I just had the batteries replaced though, so I'm good for a few more years.- Chikolad

Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
I left my Hugo2 powered up and connected to the charger constantly since the day I got it, and it took 5 years for my battery to die. Not sure what the average lifespan of these batteries is- Chikolad

Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread
The charging light on the 2Go is white currently. I'll try separating them and see how the Hugo2 behaves on its own. Yes, I've had the Hugo2 since 2018 and it's been connected to the charger pretty much constantly since. I don't use it unplugged, hardly ever. But I thought it was supposed to...- Chikolad

I already did that, and this morning it still acted the same. Plus it's still making these weird noises, and it was always connected to the charger so why would this even happen?- Chikolad

Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread
Hi all, I have a Hugo2 + 2Go and last night the Hugo's power orb started blinking red and a few minutes later it shut down. It's still continuing this behavior and also there's a weird sound it makes every few seconds, like a vibration. Looks like the (stock) charger is OK and the 2Go seems to...- Chikolad

Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
I mean when a BT connected device starts playing. Let's say I'm using Roon to playback into 2GO's network input, and I have a computer connected to the 2GO via BT. While music is playing in Roon, if the computer makes any sound, the Roon playback stops and 2GO switches to its BT input. I want...- Chikolad

Introducing the LCD-i3
Some Audeze insider once advised me to use them together as it should give a fuller more bassy sound. They're not really designed to go together though, as once the ear hooks are attached the fins can't fit into place. I ended up giving up the fins. BTW, in what way does the new pair sound better?- Chikolad

How Many Times Have Your LCD3 Headphones Been Returned to Audeze for Servicing (RMA)?
If anything I think that drivers fail more if they are not frequently used. Mine is also an 2014 pair and they failed somewhere in 2016/7 I think, and I was still within warranty so I was lucky. So far with the new drivers it's been good. I believe that nowadays it is really rare for Audeze...- Chikolad

Audeze LCD-3 Impressions Thread
If they have the original drivers, I wouldn't buy. Check if the drivers were replaced and when. If they are post 2016 drivers then they are less prone to failures. Also, in 2016 Audeze had a revision in all of their drivers which improved the sound as well. Also make sure that they have Fazors...- Chikolad

I find that these types of stands degrade the cups over time. I prefer the type of stands as you use for the Hifiman there- Chikolad

Audeze LCD-3 Impressions Thread
Usually you replace both drivers, since they need to be matched in terms of output, and there are also revisions from time to time... I would believe that the price is for both drivers but don't take my word for it. EDIT: didn't see others already answered...- Chikolad

Dragonfly COBALT vs.............Discussions
Yes, I also lean towards my brain being the culprit. My brain is used to Mojo and Hugo 2. Chord DACs also take some adjusting of the brain (they sound good to begin with, but better after adjusting). Not sure which filter the LG uses.- Chikolad

Dragonfly COBALT vs.............Discussions
So 2 days ago it finally happened. Something clicked.
