In that case the October version should be called RC2, or 1.1 to distinguish. We can only surmise that this is the same release candidate which has been yet again delayed ...- nudd

CEntrance BlueDAC - Anyone aware?
Ok thanks ok think you need to update the indiegogo page because I am pretty sure it says it is based on the HiFi m8 design? I am going back this now as you guys have always delivered on your promises and I was pretty happy with the m8 other than the noise problem and (couple of years later)...- nudd

CEntrance BlueDAC - Anyone aware?
I have the HiFi m8 and one thing I was really not happy about is that it is not as quiet as advertised. Even at lowest gain setting it has audible hiss which can only be fixed by sending the unit to be modded by Centrance at extra cost. How is this addressed with this dac? Also the m8 is not...- nudd

I also backed the IEM package and the zero jitter stuff which I think is not part of the wave 64 package which is also missing. At this stage, given their failure to install mu metal shielding etc on infinities I have zero confidence they will actually implement any non visible upgrades.- nudd

Light Harmonic Geek Wave
Just had a look at my order and it looks like a ton of perks did NOT get included including dual DAC!! How can you spend so many months setting up and re-setting up your ordering system Larry Ho and still get it so wrong?! It does not bode well for a company's technical competence or...- nudd

Light Harmonic Geek Wave
The problem is I don't think you can even say their product is rock solid from an engineering perspective. See the various posts about unsafe firmware update software with no version or compatability checking, failure to sync lock, high failure rates, the max volume bug on the geek out, failure...- nudd

Just want to point out that Larry is the technical guy so I don't believe he was misled into thinking what was possible. Either GF went ahead and perked everything to hell without permission (unlikely as they are business partners) or Larry signed off on it as the tech guy.- nudd

Sony XBA-H1 and XBA-H3 Hybrid Dynamic and BA IEM
Etys are known as reference neutral earphones and the H3 is the opposite of neutral. Big bass, relatively u shaped sound signature. But signature Sony tuning. Musical, holographic imaging, engaging to listen to. It is my guilty pleasure.- nudd

Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics
Also try foobar with the asio driver? I managed to get my infinity from being completely non functional ( refuse to sync) to working 100% by flashing the new firmware. Agree also it is lacking in body and verging on cold. I use warm headphones like the Th-x00 to compensate. Eventually i will...- nudd

Thank you! A really good review, backed by measurements and makes me feel a bit better about not being able to have the option of upgrading. Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics
Some people have found that flashing the latest firmware can fix an otherwise non-functioning Pulse (especially due to the dreaded fail to lock on signal and no sound problem). Have you tried that? PS I am not defending them (if you see from my posts, like 70% of them are like how...- nudd

[2021 Update] Venture Electronics (VE) Monk V2, Monk Plus & Monk Go: a $5 earbud that taking the world by storm!!!
Have been listening to balanced monk on my Liquid Carbon (initial batch) and holy crap it sounds so much better than the Carbon's single ended output it's not funny.
