hd25 an upgrade to Westone 3?
What? So the W3 s aren't flat out better than the hd 25s? I've been using the hd25s as my portable phone for close to a year now. I was thinking of making a return to IEMs. (GR-07 maybe) I was honestly thinking IEMs at the same retail price point ( $160 - $200 ) would be better. I...- killmurer

Best headphones for $150-200. (FOR ROCK MUSIC)
No they don't. If you're gonna use it outside grados might be a bad idea. You'll definitely want a closed phone IMO. Although lately I don't care much for headfonia, this article seems to mirror the thoughts of most people here. ...- killmurer

Best headphones for $150-200. (FOR ROCK MUSIC)
Quote: It's still in your price range. \m/ You'll find the basic edition for $150-165. Cheaper if you look harder. Of course the M50 is still at least $ 20-30 cheaper. I don't think you'll go wrong with either though. Here's the adidas version for $175 ...- killmurer

Best headphones for $150-200. (FOR ROCK MUSIC)
I think the hd25 could be better for rock. The portability is a plus but the comfort is not for everyone. I haven't heard the m50s so can't comment on that.- killmurer

Is Sansa Clip + really that good?!
I heard the stock SGS and hated it. Have the SGS2 and hate it. Clip+ beats the crap out of both IMO. I'm not sure about Voodoo-ed SGS though. Be wary of its sound signature though. It seems flat. Like really flat. The highs can be a little fatiguing at times.- killmurer

The best $1500 Bang for buck headphone rig in 2012
Thanks obobskivich. Now I think I have a much better idea of stats sound. Though to be really truthful it makes more sure that it might not be what I want. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.. Firstly, good 40% of what I listen to is rock/metal and for those I think (from what I...- killmurer

The best $1500 Bang for buck headphone rig in 2012
Okay so.. Orthos I have less choices for an LCD2 rig, more for HE-500. Dynamic I can go with something like HD 650 + a really expensive amp. I know HD 650 can scale well, but can it compete with the $ 1k headphones. Can it compete well? T1 is another option. HD 800...- killmurer

The best $1500 Bang for buck headphone rig in 2012
If the T1 only sounds good with ultra expensive amps like RWA, then it's definitely out. As for the portable set up suggestions, I'm not really looking for one. I'm happy with my clip+ and hd25. Don't think I'd want haul a huge set up around anyways. CIEMs are not for me, don't like...- killmurer

The best $1500 Bang for buck headphone rig in 2012
Comfort is the one thing I'm worried about. I'm usually not a sucker for comfort but is the HE-500 waaay better in comfort? The weight of the LCD2 is a turn off. And how does an HD 700 rig compare to these two? It seems it's not that picky about the source. And, thunderpants? Too...- killmurer
