ACS custom sleeves for IE6 or Buy IE8
I'd go for the upgrade to IE8s. I've got ACS sleeves, and they're comfortable and provide a bit more isolation (still not enough IMHO), but if you get some ACS sleeves for the IE6 I'll guarantee you'll still get upgraditis and end up buying the IE8s at a later stage (making your £90 IE6...- digivate

Custom sleeve for Klipsh Image X10. Worth it?
They take a little bit longer to slip into place than universal tips, but it get's quikcer and easier with practice and it's not uncomfortable. Once they're in the right spot they stay put and you forget they're even there. You don't need to send your earphones in. They only need you to send...- digivate

Custom sleeve for Klipsh Image X10. Worth it?
I've got a pair of ACS custom sleeves for my UM3x and I'm currently in the process of getting another pair made for some IE8s. The new pair are proving a little bit problematic, and they're currently back with ACS for their 3rd refit, but thankfully ACS customer service is very good and I'm sure...- digivate

Colour of custom tips
To be honest you don't really notice the sleeves that much when they're in your ears. The only bit that is really visible is the bit at the bottom just above your earlobes. I think the black versions maybe look a little bit more discreet in the ear as they don't catch the light as much as the...- digivate

Are amplifiers for iems worth the money?
As already stated, it depends on your current setup. I personally think that you get more bang-for-buck when upgrading your source or earphones but, if you've already got a good source and earphones, a decent amp can give you a that little bit extra. I've got an amp but I only use it at...- digivate

ACS T3 vs IE8?
I'd go for the IE8's but maybe get ACS to make some custom sleeves for them for an extra £90. The IE8 sound pretty good, but don't isolate very well and getting a good fit can be tricky for some. Give the IE8s a try and if you can't get a good seal go for the custom tips. Advanced...- digivate

Sennheiser IE8 - What are the real flaws?
They look like they should be really easy to wear but getting them into the right position is actually a pain in the backside and noise isolation is no where near 26 dB as claimed. I also have doubts that the treble goes up to 20,000 Hz. I think the top end is a little bit weak as things like...- digivate

Fair point. I've not moved into the world of customs yet but one of my main worries has always been the cost of international postage if sending them back and forth to get refits. Question about On-line Westone seller
I VERY much doubt that they are an authorised dealer* though that's not to say that they don't sell genuine goods.
