Hi, Has anyone has experience with ACS T3's here?


ACS T3 Custom Made Single Driver Earphone Monitors - £230

I was thinking about them as I wanted customs but didn't want to deal with sending the molds off overseas so this UK company works best.

Or would it be better buying Sennheiser IE8's - £140


Not too sure which would be better for the price payed.

I'd go for the IE8's but maybe get ACS to make some custom sleeves for them for an extra £90. The IE8 sound pretty good, but don't isolate very well and getting a good fit can be tricky for some.

Give the IE8s a try and if you can't get a good seal go for the custom tips.

good advice to buy universals and try before you commit to customs, however its difficult to compare a dynamic iem like ie8 with a single armature like the acs T3, if isolation and comfort is your number 1 priority then as a T2 owner i would highly recommend the T3 , however if sq and in perticular bass is priority you may find the single armature of the T3 lacking, the build quality and service from ACS is great , price is a factor but not a comparison when making decisions between universals and customs, i would be more inclined to compare universals say the er6i with the T3 or say the se530 with the T2 , if isolation and comfort are lower on your prioritys you may be better with a universal
