Thanks to this bad beast of a box set, I’ve been getting my face rocked off by the SP3000. Happily sitting tight with this player, even though the new, new SP3000T is so intriguing and intriguing to so many!

I use a MacBook Pro, I’ve noticed the Android File Transfer isn’t seeing the SD portion of my storage, when I’m trying to move my files over.

Thanks for your input! All my music is commercially-bought CD’s that I ripped into ALAC…I think I need either a fresh SD card or another re-format.

I’m really bad, been a long-time A&K user, and I just CANNOT get the hang of this player. I guess I’m just so used to the locked-down simplicity of A&K. I’m not a big fiddler or EQ’er.

Does the 3000T have the light that encircles the volume knob, indicating bit rate or volume level of the music?

Just put a pre-order in for a green R4 through the HiBy site. Kinda been in the market for a DAP that I can take anywhere, and the cost of entry isn’t so high!

Man, I am all for these new “return to their roots” players, along with the Cayin N3 Ultra, without the Android stuff.

Recently updated to latest firmware. Often have album artwork issues, and always seem to clean that up with a somewhat lengthy “media scan”…just noticed the “initialize media scan” option under Settings/System Reset is “greyed out” and not available…can’t figure out what’s up.
