Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread
I had a microphone model, and my durability issues were on the cable near the microphone. Wondering if others had a similar issue. Fender replaced my Rockets with another model, but I wish I had tried to get them repaired.- kilgoretrout

Which Etymotic for isolation and size?
Hello, My Etymotic hf3 earphones got damaged recently, and I've been looking into replacing with a new pair of Etymotics. I'm considering another hf3 or mk5, er2, or er3. I have two important criteria for selecting: the isolation capabilities and size. Are there any differences between the...- kilgoretrout

Thanks for the advice. I usually do secure the cable so it doesn’t move around. Would the E1000 work better for isolation? It looks like it has a closed design as far as I can tell.- kilgoretrout

How is the noise isolation? I'm looking for something I can use while riding a motorcycle to block out wind and engine noise. I usually use Comply tips.- kilgoretrout

I'm looking for a IEM that is small enough to almost disappear in the ear when you wear it. I came across the E series and thought it might work to replace the Etymotic hf5 I broke recently. Are they smaller than the Etymotic hf5? Are all of the E series the same size? The Moondrop Spaceship was...- kilgoretrout

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
What options are there for something similar to the shape and size of the Aurisonics Rockets? Mine broke and I've been looking for something similar. I like that the Rockets fit easily underneath a motorcycle helmet.- kilgoretrout

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Yes, I'm sure it's a FXA7. It's labeled FXA7 in small print on each IEM. Perhaps they switched over at some point. It surprised me too when I saw it was 2 pin because all of them info I had read about these IEMs said they used MMCX.- kilgoretrout

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Anyone know what type of connector Fender uses for the cables? It seems like 2-pin cables come in both 0.75mm and 0.78mm sizes. Which is it? I have a FXA7 with a 2-pin connection.- kilgoretrout

2-pin bluetooth cable for IEMs
It looks great but it's too expensive. At that price I would prefer to get new earbuds that are fully wireless. Are there are other options? -
Small under desk rack?
I used this Ikea cable management tray for a while. I used it to keep cables out of sight, never a DAC or small amp, but it should work. -
2-pin bluetooth cable for IEMs
Hi all, I'm looking for a 2-pin bluetooth cable to have a (semi) wireless setup for listening at the gym and on the go. Any recommendations on an cable? I don't like the neckband or pendant style designs. I'm instead looking for something that would work like these Jaybird Freedom 2 headphones...- kilgoretrout

Bose QC35 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
I think I have a solution for you. Is the naming of your PC LIVINGROOM or Livingroom? Writing the name in all caps makes it spell out each letter. Changing that fixed it for me.- kilgoretrout

Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread
Hi all, the Rockets have been my primary way to listen on the go. Lately I've been interested in active noise canceling phones like Bose QC20 for use while traveling on planes. Just wondering, for those got multiple pairs, did you get them for yourself or for someone else? I'd like to get two colors just to see which I like better, but I don't think I can justify to myself the extra cost.- kilgoretrout

I got the mic option because I set out to find one pair of IEMs that will be the only pair I need to carry with me. I don't want to choose between some combination of fit, sound quality, durability, and features. It will be worth the wait if it truly has everything.- kilgoretrout

A few questions: What kinds of tips are included and how many? I'm really looking for something with a mic. Would it be worth it to get these and sell them to get a mic'd version when it's out? What is the resale value like on other Aurisonics products?- kilgoretrout

Find me IEMs - super comfortable, good for exercise and travel
The Aurisonics Rockets promise pretty much what I want. However, there are no real user reviews. They look promising, so I'm undecided on this one. I did some more research, and I found two options I like: VSonic GR06 and Logitech Ultimate Ears 600. Any advice on choosing or adding to the list?- kilgoretrout
