I'll definitely look into that. Do you know if the Schiit Decrapifier is just a voltage regulator for usb power? or does it have other functions rolled into it as well?- daflippymaster

Audio stuttering over USB - Windows 8.1/Fiio E17
I have a powered usb hub but it isn't super nice. Would that introduce noise into the sound? (not at home so I can't check immediately)- daflippymaster

Audio stuttering over USB - Windows 8.1/Fiio E17
Hey all I'm currently using a Fiio E17 as my usb DAC/Amp for my desktop and every once in a while the audio over usb will stutter (no matter the source, foobar, chrome, vlc, etc.) However it usually fixed by a restart, but this time it seems the problem is here to stay. The audio out of the...- daflippymaster

Rockit Sounds R-50 Reviews and Impressions
Personally I love fixing things myself, but I'd email/call them first to find out if its still under warranty. Chances are it is and all you should have to pay is the shipping to them (at least thats how it was with me, so YMMV).- daflippymaster

Rockit Sounds R-50 Reviews and Impressions
Are these stable/Do they work well without the memory wire? The memory wire on the right side broke inside the heat shrink and won't form well to my ear anymore. I'd send them back but i'm already in the process of sending my main pair of iems (sm3 v2) for repairs as well and these are the...- daflippymaster

DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread
Would you guys advise against soldering the wires to the connector and then braiding? Generally, i'll put some heatshrink around the tip of the connector and stick it in a vice-grip and then tie that to something to help keep constant tension, seeing as I don't have a dedicated vice.- daflippymaster

HD25-1 ii and HD25sp ear cups
Does anyone know if the hd25-1 ii drivers will fit in the hd25sp ear cups? I need some replacements and I can't find a single place on the internet that sells *just* the cups. The drivers themselves are fine, and unfortunately, the hd25-1's are out of warrenty.- daflippymaster

Does anyone know of a good source for 24 awg stranded wire besides doublehelixcables/navships? Kinda looking for something thats flexible and that won't break the bank. If not, would an 8 strand braid of 26 awg be thick/sturdy enough for full sized cans?- daflippymaster
