Need help setting up my FiiO E9.
Nope, it's (unfortunately) not a bad cable, my friend. But don't worry, it's completely normal. Because the amp is connected directly to your PC, internal case noise will also be heard (transported along cable). That's one of the things a USB DAC avoids. It doesn't connect through the...- duheee

Need help setting up my FiiO E9.
Ah, the USB DAC function only works with the E7 docked in it. If you are using it purely as an amplifier, then you will want to connect a M/M 3.5mm cable to your audio out on the back of your PC (I believe either the green or black 3.5mm plug, the same place that your plug in your...- duheee

Need help setting up my FiiO E9.
You connect your headphones to the front of the E9. The RCA and other outputs are for if you are connecting it to another amplifier. The computer connects through the USB port. You don't need any cables.- duheee

Headphone Sightings 2
Saw a guy putting on some Ultrasone Pro 900s at the Buffalo (NY) airport. I went to my concourse, which was about 100 feet away from where i saw him, to put my stuff down. When I walked back to where I saw him, to talk to him, I couldn't find him again :(- duheee

Bravo Audio - funny looking little tube amps
Hello again, I just bought many of the parts for the mods to this amp from mouser and now have a few more questions (sorry, kind of a noob here). First, how do I measure the bias on the trim pots so that I can adjust it accordingly? Second, how do I cut the traces for the crosstalk...- duheee

I told him about my M50s because we were on the subject of headphones, not because i thought they were better or because i wanted him to get them. I was simply telling him what i owned. I HIGHLY doubt the kids at my school would have liked anything even somewhat distant from mainstream...- duheee

Saw some Pioneer HDJ 2000s on the DJ at my school dance; They were pretty beat up. I went up to him after the dance and told him about my ATH-M50s and he was decent enough to know that they are "supposed to be good for audio production". Overall a pretty nice DJ although i hated just about every...- duheee

You can use a temporary credit card to buy from any websites that accepts credit cards. You can even attach a name and address to use it on ebay and paypal. You can get these at walgreens, Walmart, or pretty much any place where gift cards are sold. I usually get the American express temporary...- duheee

Are these Audio Technica M50 fake?
everything that I could see looked legit except for one thing: This could simply be because of the camera, but the questionable headphones look like the part that is circled is plastic, while mine (purchased from an authorized dealer) are pleather in that place. Questionable...- duheee

Review of the Audio Technica ATH-M50s headphones

Review of the Audio Technica ATH-M50s headphones
Quote: Yes, i assumed that the "s" was the updated one, but the "s" is irrelevant. All manufacturers that i know of update their product periodically, and this is the case with the blue vs. the white box, but i am sure some updates have been done even without changing the box color. So yes...- duheee

Review of the Audio Technica ATH-M50s headphones
Quote: Yes, if anything the M50s are more comfortable for me. I am easily able to wear them for long periods of time. Some people have complained about the m50s clamping too hard to your head, but i believe this what fixed with the new model ATH-M50 "S". Feel free to ask any more...- duheee
