Rewire My Shure E500s
Hello, I'm looking for someone who would do a pro job rewiring my E500s with high quality cable. I'm not sure what kind of wire to use so I could use some suggestions on that also. I use them all the time - from recording (I'm a drummer) to jogging with them. I would like a non-tangle...- MrJingles

Hey Punnisher. I also would love to have one but have no desire to attempt DIY. Would you kindly consider making me one and if so, how much? I live in Maine, USA. Thanks.- MrJingles

Shure E500/E530 Cable Poll
I had the same cracked cable problem as all of you. I sent in my E500s 2 weeks ago and just received a replacement from Shure at no cost! I explained that I didn't have the receipt but that I purchased them last year. Shure stepped up and really took care me, the customer. I hope I don't have...- MrJingles

What's wrong with me? Cowon D2 Kills my other rigs!
I walk every day for 45 minutes with the D2 and Shure E500s and it sounds wonderful. Since it's unamped, I do use some Jet Effects. Keep in mind that my iMod and Headsix kill it with no EQ, but because of the portability and great sound, the D2 is well worth the money.- MrJingles

Westone 3 - You asked for it, we listened !
Totally unfortunate. I truly believed that Westone was different than Xin and Larocco, but the wait time, even with the sporadic updates is ridiculous. Why do some manufacturers continue to bait us with "future" products but don't deliver in a timely fashion. Obviously, I understand their need...- MrJingles

Are we all suckers?
Nice question. It's totally subjection, perception and means. The cost for the small percentage increase of sq is not an issue for me, so I choose to have. without being ridiculous, the best gear that I can. Are there noise and distractions that interfere with the sq...yes, but can I hear...- MrJingles

Cowon D2 or Creative Zen - 8GB ??
I need something to carry to the gym that sounds great and is small. SQ is most important, but I picked these 2 players because they're small and expandable with the cards. Mp3 240vb is the only format I use. I will barely, if ever, use this for video so that's not an issue. Anyone????- MrJingles

Kenwood HD60GD9 vs iMod???????
Hello. I currently have an 80g iMod with a Headsix amp that sounds incredible. The problem is that I'm getting a little tired of the bulkiness. I'm beginning to think that I would like a player that can slide in my pocket or clip to my belt, but I don't want to give up much SQ. Has anyone done a...- MrJingles

My 2 Cents On Shure's Black Foamies
I'll probably get flamed for this, but I bought some of the black foamies and I still prefer the yellow ones. As we all know, the E500s are a bit light on the top end and the blacks add a bit more low end, which the E500s definitely don't need. The added weight seems to recess the highs, which...- MrJingles

The more I listen to this amp, the more I love it! I've gone back and forth with my Tomahawk and the HeadSix is just so warm and lush. I can listen for hours with absolutely no fatigue and I've been listening exclusively to Devin Townsend (Progressive Metal)...no problem.- MrJingles

ETYMŌTIC IEM Owners Headcount - Are you one?
I've been listening to my new ER-4Ps for a couple of hours and they sound great! The details are awesome! I'm hearing things I never heard with my e500s. Having said that, as of right now, I do miss the fatter low end. I think my ears will get more accustomed to it as days go by. Also, I...- MrJingles
