I walk every day for 45 minutes with the D2 and Shure E500s and it sounds wonderful. Since it's unamped, I do use some Jet Effects. Keep in mind that my iMod and Headsix kill it with no EQ, but because of the portability and great sound, the D2 is well worth the money.

robojack, we all know images can be embedded in flac files

But I don't believe you are correct that thay will display on your D2 without a cover.jpg.
Try removing the cover.jpg from the folder and see if you still see the album art being displayed on the D2 for your flac files.

If it is true you need to let everyone know how you did it...
