Westone 4 Impressions and Reviews Thread
Anyone having severe issues with balance? The right side on mine are significantly weaker. I've verified this with multiple people and have tried changing the source. Anyone know the cause?- randomasdf

Fixing HD580/600 headband padding?
Mine are flat, so i'm looking to repair them since they're about $14 which seems a little expensive for padding. Any recommendations for padding material to use or anyone with similar experience, e.g. fixing up flat pads?- randomasdf

cute beyond headphone amp + supply
I think the problem is probably with my headphones, but the bass is a little bit more pleasurable than with the zero. Kind of new to this whole amp thing...- randomasdf

Thicker AKG pads?
I feel like this isn't the most ideal solution(blurry pic, sorry): Using old, dry vinyl pads + those costum pads + scotch tape. I tried using quite full/thick velour pads, but they didn't feel thick enough. This is actually quite a comfortable arrangement, and I might want to keep it...- randomasdf

Upgrade from Zero DAC?
I have a zero DAC/amp, and just bought a dedicated amp. I feel like I might as well upgrade my DAC as well, and sell off my zero. I think an external soundcard/DAC would be best for me (running off a lappy). I've been looking at the emu 0404, but I'm not really sure. My price range is ~$130ish...- randomasdf

Grilles and k240 sextetts?
The sextetts are quite nice, but I've decided to finally get a dedictated amp to power them, so hopefully that helps out. (Unfortunately not tube or hybrid, i'm cheap. ) I've also been switching between velour pads and the costum pads that someone sold a while ago. @dormie...- randomasdf

Grilles and k240 sextetts?
I have MP sextetts, I think, and removable grilles. The grilles were pretty annoying, as they hurt my outer ear over time. I'm not too keen on destroying my grilles to regrille them, so I've just removed them entirely. How bad exactly is this for my passive drivers? I haven't heard them crinkle...- randomasdf

Looking for a sound card with very specific dimensions
Hi, I'm currently using a 2503-10u advanced dock with my thinkpad(w500 =D) Lenovo Support & downloads - ThinkPad Advanced Dock - Overview (This might be better: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/ThinkPad_Advanced_Dock ) It has a pci-e slot in it (only 1x speed though, I think), and that...- randomasdf

best amp for sextetts?
Bump on an old thread. But what would be a decent amp to pair up with my sextetts that's ~$120? I'm currently using the built in one on my zero, which I feel like is underpowered.- randomasdf

Pen-Fi (FPs, RBs, BPs, etc...) [56k Warning]
I have a number of ball point pens right now, so I thought it would be able to fit at least one of them. Some of the ones right next to me are the sensa cloud nine, which currently uses a pretty standard, thin/long pen refill. I also have a parker pen which is using a parker roller ball...- randomasdf
