I feel like this isn't the most ideal solution(blurry pic, sorry):
Using old, dry vinyl pads + those costum pads + scotch tape. I tried using quite full/thick velour pads, but they didn't feel thick enough. This is actually quite a comfortable arrangement, and I might want to keep it.



But yeah. I want thicker pads, and is there a better solution than 2 pairs of pads + scotch tape?

yeah, done that. I don't know how much you're looking to spend but Denon pads (5000, 7000), original or JMoney versions would probably fit fine and do just what you want.
