Don't really think that rockbox is better then ibasso's player..rockbox is 16/44...   But ... a 128 with 122 inside is closier then before..

according for author podt it's just first attempt and he'll going to check all fws to find the best sound...

Hey ppl!!   Great news:   first custom made firmware for dx50 from pleer.ru (by DOC2008):   http://www.mediafire.com/download/otm37jnz8i0n8ig/DX50V128_mod_by_DOC2008.zip   it's 1.2.8 fw with 1.2.6 sound libs.     just for curious advanced users.

Nice..nice news earlay at the mornin!   jj69: i think there are noone who cares sound change at ibasso..   as it was said long time ago at this thread they use free libs for sound decoding...and any change in libs goin into new firmware

Just received my new custom cable for westone um20....and i'm totally happy.. it's a miracle how brilliant dx50 can play.

so...i'm a bit disaapointed now.. but i wanny share this:   since i've installed genuine S III battery .. i haven't any cell-phone interference audible.. 3 days wihout harsh sounds... mistry which i cannot explain
