  As soon as mp4nation ships my dx50 to me, I will have pics with the Shadow.  I have been using the shadow for a few months now with my Sony DAP.  It is definitely smaller than I imagined it, and allows me to pocket the stack still.

I'd appreciate a pic or two and opinion, split between RSA shadow and pico slim.

That's the colour I was looking at! Is that the ibasso silicon case? I take it you get no hiss, and it's better than the HO. I suppose I have to buy from japan or US for them, or Ray samuels direct for a shadow?

  oops just seen dannybai's post, that makes a much smaller stack. Hiss or no hiss?

DX50 connected to an amp kills the hiss,  at least with mine. Red is sexy!

  maybe Im deaf but I don't get any hiss with my w4r!? (brand new, a couple of hours use)

Maybe I am lucky but I don't get any hiss with my DX50 (batch 9) either.
 
By the way, I prefer amping my DX50 (either with the Fiio E12 or the E18 and LO) to HO.  My favourite IEM for this combo is the W4R.

is it wise to downgrade from dx 100? I hate the chunkyness now as i do a lot of air travel. And there were some trouble to get through the custom sometime, lol. Was looking for a smaller in size portable for travel use
