why would you need a volume control on a DAC. Perhaps we need one on amp maybe? I have seen one head-fi member getting a remote control volume by special order from WooAudio amp.

wow. that is a great price! I just wanna buy it even though I don't need it   By the way, non Manufaktur versions have a great chance of being channel imbalance. That is exactly what happened to my DT880 600ohm. I had to pay like 70 bucks to fix it in my country.
