The closest I've come is Bryston BP20 pre-amp driving HD600. A fantastic pairing. The huge voltage swing the Bryston can deliver really brings the dynamic capabilities of the 600 to life, and also gives sub-bass a lot more oomph. People who say the 600 can't deliver sub-bass haven't heard this...
