If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...
Haven't posted for a while and noticed that this thread has gotten really technical. But that's good! Just want to say that after 10 years of owning several in ear phones, the ER4 is still the best. I often got lost wandering around trying different IEM's but I always end up going back to my...- leonsphinx

VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread
Am not sure if this question has been asked already...does anyone have an issue with regards to the swiveling port? After 2 months of use I haven't got any problems but since it is a moving part, I'm concerned if there will be some loosening at one point- leonsphinx

Review: Fischer Audio's DBA-02
Had the DBA2, used it for 3 mos-> channel imbalance. Tried the B2, used it for 4 mos -> channel imbalance. I gave up on these two a long time ago...moving on- leonsphinx

Not impressed with Etymotic MC5
I read the previous posts on this thread and no one seemed to mention amping the MC5. There are IEMs that don't do well or even sound worse with an amp, such as the FA DBA-2 and FA eterna. I know the MC5 is meant to be portable and used straight out of an ipod considering that it has volume...- leonsphinx

SansaClip+ Rockbox Impressions thread
got my clip+ 8G 1 month ago and had no problems running either stock or rockbox. best thing is to send back the clip for exchange (if with warranty) coz it may be a player specific problem Quote:- leonsphinx

As per my observation, you can insert them deeper if worn over ear, in effect, better isolation, better sound esp the bass Quote:- leonsphinx

Brainwavz B2 Impressions & Discussion Thread
Tried the Ety triflange with the B2s but didnt work for me. I think the preferred tips for the B2s are single flanges so you can insert the nozzle well deep into the canal. Athough you can insert the triflanges deep enough, the nozzles remain distant from your eardrums and this sort of distorts...- leonsphinx

I really doubt about this "burn in" effect. Was using my DBA-02 for over a year and just had my B2's recently and after comparing both, they sound 95% the same. Quote:- leonsphinx

Had a similar problem with the tips being left in my ear. A simple solution is to put some sticky tape around the nozzle to get a tighter fit so the tips are more secure Quote:- leonsphinx
