    Office Headphone Etiquette

I use HD-650 at office. They hardly isolate any sound, and I use low level, so I can have normal conversation with my headphones and music on. Though normally I remove them is the conversation is longer than couple of centences.

    HD 650 or DT 880?

I had the same problem: DT-880 or HD650? Spent couple of days listening DT-880 and then couple of hours listening HD650 and DT-880 side by side at a store. Marked down differences with them and how I liked them. They were very even and for me it was bit wider soundstage of HD650 that made me...

Are ther noise cancelling headphone reviews here?

I have Sennheiser PXC-200, I've also had E2c and now have E4. The sound in PXC-200 is excellent, better than E2c or E4. Now the bad news: PXC-200 requires batteries, it has a "stick" which takes the batteries and has the NC circuits. Ie. unnecessary piece of equipment hanging around or...

    Best cans for Rio karma?

    > Shure E2C For critical listener the missing highs may bother. Didn't bother me before I bought my HD-650.. Then I found the missing highs to be handicap > Sennheiser PX100 I have PCX 250. Bit like shure e2c but _with_ the highs. Unfortunately, pxc250 clamp too much. After 4 hours it...

Pulling the Trigger on the E4's, pretty Nervous

I upgraded from e2c to E4. I'm not still quite shure if I'm happy with the upgrade. The thing I didn't like with E2c was the inadequate highs. E4 has very nice highs, but guess everything comes with a price: The bass is gone. If I listen to HD-650 and then switch to E4, I'm wondering where...

Which (noise cancelling?) headphones should I buy?

I've personally found that PXC-250 clamp my ears bit too hard and start to feel uncomfortable after some 2 to 3 hours of listening. Also another point to notice with PXC-250 is that the highs are _very_ dependent on how they are located on your ear. Slight changes in positioning the ear pieces...

Listening To Headphones While Driving - Legal?!

Listening to music with headphones basically disables your ability to notice sounds outside the car. How does that differ from being deaf? In my opinion, if deaf people are allowed to drive a car, one should be able to listen to headphones while driving. I enjoyed my PXC-250 when driving piece...

    Go-Vibe has landed (PICS)

How long have you listened to it and what kind of battery do you use? I had Duracell 9V alkaline and I think it was less than 15 hours with my senns before the battery was drained enough that it caused sound to be distorted. Too bad I haven't found any of those 9.6volt rechargeables in...

    Amps, Finland??

If you decide to order online, please note that you always have the risk of getting your stuff to be declared (tullattavaksi). In that case, 22% VAT (alv) and some duty is added to the price. In case of headphone amps, the duty is 2%. If you order your amp from USA, then there is 15% extra duty...

    noise cancelling headphone at work

My experience with noice canceling headsets is that they tend to cancel the constant noise. Ie. the constant hum from aircon, big part of engine noise etc. while still letting "unexpected" voices (speak, "pling", etc) trough. PXC-250 aren't that good in canceling noise. "Plane quiet"...
