Sony Walkman custom firmware (non-Android)
I forgot to tell you, I used equalizer, it makes the sound even better: settings tone controls 31 -1.5 62 -3.5 4k -1.5 Personally I like more subbass, and since it never spill to other frequencies, I use 31 - 2.5 to 3.5- hamhamhamsta

Highly recommend 7 Hertz Timeless with CEW region. It got really good dynamic, so effin fast speed and transient, and thundering, rattling subbass. Timbre is superb A++. If you have better cables, it will perform so much better. Dynamic and bass is slightly less than Fir M5 with Eletech Illiad...- hamhamhamsta

Timeless OG is definitely a gem. Try it with different tips and the better cable you use, the better it performs. It’s my fav iem I have bar none. it’s so fast and so tight, yet using 1Z it’s rich and analogue. I use JVC spiral dots and Aztec Crystal clear tips. the sound with spiral tips is...- hamhamhamsta

Try CN (China) region. It’s very clinical, probably somewhere your back alley. Although it can be a bit lacking in dynamic for my taste- hamhamhamsta

This guy know the good stuff. Try using Azla Xelatech. I aLways use High gain with Mr Walkman 1Z mode, alternate Dac. It’s truly stunning. It’s slightly better than Fir Audio NE4, which is quite a feat since NE4 is a mini KR6( almost $4k) iem. Give 7 hertz a good cable, good dap, power and tips...- hamhamhamsta

J3 has great crazy synergy with 7 Hertz Timeless, great textured bass, great depth, extremely holographic, great great dynamics and even better separation. Wow, I’m falling in love with listening again. This is on high gain, PMV 2. Performance is probably comparable to Fir Neon 4, which is a...- hamhamhamsta

Yes, this. Modded Walkman, mine is modded with black gate caps, together with Mr Walkman FW is great even with YouTube streams. I’m listening to Whiskey Blues music the last couple weeks. It’s really great- hamhamhamsta
