Adelaide meet
I did a review of them you can check out here http://www.head-fi.org/products/audeze-lcd2-planar-magnetic-headphones/reviews/9464 I sold them mainly due to comfort issues. They kept giving me headaches and when I found myself reaching for my HD600s more than my LCD2.2s I knew that I should...- dalb

Hifiman HE-400i and HE-560: From CES to Pre-Launch
Yep. I had that exact problem with the Audeze, the pressure points on the top of my head. I hated it. While the HE400 was evenly spread and although the headband looked less comfortable than the Audeze headband it was much nicer.- dalb

Hifiman HE-400i and HE-560: From CES to Pre-Launch
I auditioned my LCD2.2s before I bought them and laughed at the idea that they would be too heavy for me. Then after a couple months and many many headaches I realised comfort is all about living with a pair of headphones. Side note: I never had any comfort issues with the HE400, but still the...- dalb

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
If I could listen to speakers exclusively I would. However, until I graduate medical school and can afford my own place listening with headphones is the only way I can be considerate to my close neighbours and enjoy my music. I definitely get where Uchiya is coming from. With regard to...- dalb

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
My HD600 headband cracked but I was within warranty so Sennheiser just gave me a new pair of HD600s haha. But seeing as you have an HD580 you won't have warranty. I looked into buying the headband part for my HD600s before Sennheiser replaced them and they are just so expensive, particularly in...- dalb

Spotify, is the quality good enough?
I've been using Spotify Premium since it was available in Australia. I also have quite an extensive FLAC collection. I can't hear a difference. I've tried, but with my equipment (not bad at all), 320 and lossless are indistinguishable and I believe a lot of the differences people 'hear' are placebo. -
Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
Yes I didn't really like the Asgard 2 either. Couldn't hear a difference between it and my Audioengine D1, which costs way less and has a DAC too. My Violectric HPA V90 on the other hand, is very nice with the HD600.- dalb

That's awesome. There is a store near me that has a pair of new D2000s. Maybe I'll pick them up and paint them black like you and save some money haha- dalb

Fostex TH600 Dynamic Headphones
No you will not damage them running them from an iPad. Contrary to popular belief around here sometimes expensive headphones don't HAVE TO go with expensive amps.- dalb

Android-fi!
Used it. Sucks (on my HTC one). If you lock then quickly try to unlock your phone it doesn't load for a few seconds and instead the default lock screen does. Such a bad app and developer support has been bad for a payouts app.- dalb
