I am really enjoying them so far, certainly more 'musical' than my e3c. I need to put some more listening time in on them and see how they hold up. The iPhone control button is a definite plus too

It could be bad luck but the same thing happening to 3 pairs of headphones seems like it is their fault *shrug*

I am over V-Moda and their horrible build quality. My brother went through the same issue with the Bass Freqs twice, the right channel went out. He now has his 3rd pair still in the box afraid to open them. I purchased the Vibe Duos for my iPhone and now 3 weeks later the right channel has gone...

I've been using my iPhone with the V-Moda Vibe Duos and I have been really happy with the results. Turning off Sound Check made a big difference too for sure.

it's a known issue at Shure to have the e2c cables crack and fall apart. From what i understand it has to do with moisture on the cables. I went through two pairs and then complained to Shure about the quality and they sent me a pair of e3c so i would certainly raise the issue but obviously YMMV

these arent under warranty as far as i know they were b stock, but i used them all day and they havent crapped out yet

a bit off topic but there are great Christian metal/rock bands like Norma Jean, the Chariot, Underoath, The Showdown, Showbread a whole slew of great music out there to expore

Pretty basic rig here, 2gig 1g nano > shure e3, DC/Incase folio for the nano and a coach leather case for the whole setup

the cable issues that the e2c (cracking, loss of sound etc.) has alone would prevent me from buying a pair over the e3c, i've only had my e3c's a day now so i cant attest too much for the sound. the bass seems very similar to the e2c but then i cant do back to back tests so of course ymmv
