Just received my IE80s, I'm having a problem with the provided tips/design of the IEMs. The left earphone falls off way to easily (a gently tug makes the seal come loose...). Any suggestions / other tips I can try? (i don't want to use the provided cable guides).

Wow, those are some really encouraging words. The thought of another universal being "that" much better than the W4 astounds me. I might have to pull the trigger then. Is earphone solutions + coupon the cheapest option? What's the cheapest the PFE 232s have been?

Update: just got them this morning! Didn't mean to bad mouth Earphonesolutions, this makes for another successful order that I've placed with them. I guess the blame (which I should disclose, is still within reason - under 30 days) should be placed on USPS and Canada Post's slow shipping times...

Arg. I was one of the individuals that pre-ordered the W4 way back from earphone solutions and still haven't received mine! It's been almost a month now and still nothing! Never choose to go with the "free shipping" to Canada, I don't know why they even offer it. Biggest mistake I've ever made...

Can someone with the D6 shed some light on how big of a problem that volume imbalance is? I know it only happens at low volumes but how low? Be so it may seem, I do sometimes listen to my IEMs (sensitive) at low volumes so I'm afraid the imbalance may bother me.

Is it just me, or does anyone else hate the long cable that the SE535 comes with? Wish there was a cheaper optional cable I could buy.

Damn. There are too many DACs/AMPs to choose from. I heard the Beresford TC-7520 is one of the best combos you can get for this price range. Does anyone know how it stacks up against the Matrix Mini? I heard the Matrix is quite weak in terms of its HP amp.
