Hey. I'll be getting a pair of D7000 pretty soon and I'm curious as to whether or not I need a better amp. I currently have a NuForce Icon Mobile which from the looks of it, seems like it will struggle to power/get the most out of the D7000.
I've been thinking about getting something more powerful. I've heard great things about the Emu-0404. How good is the headphone out compared to themy NuForce? However, the iBasso D10 seems a lot more powerful than the other two.
So my question is: what amp should I get in the $200-300 range that beats my Icon Mobile, and will pair up well with my D7000? The amp should have a DAC.
