Excellent communication throughout the entire transaction. Extremely courteous and professional with prompt payment. Would not hesitate to do business again with him in the future. Highly recommended.

It's an LCD-3 pre fazor sound wise. As far as I know there's no size difference between the LCD-2 and LCD-3 wood cups that would have any influence on the sound output.

Selling a unique LCD-3 Frankenstein here. I am the original owner. These started life as an OG LCD-2 from the very first run of production. About 2-3 years in to ownership one of the classic drivers failed. I reached out to Audeze and was informed that they no longer had any original classic...

Sonoma Model One electrostatic headphone system

Too damn funny.  Everybody and their pet monkey are trying to jump on board this ridiculous $5k+ headphone train.

The Apex Teton Review and Impressions Thread

I appreciate the review.  I'm always interested in reading more impression about this amplifier, as it has been near the top of my most wanted to sample list for quite some time, but my only criticism is the lack of headphones mentioned.  You covered the fact that certain headphones paired much...

$4k you say?  Speakers.  Oh and I love paint chips.

    Sony MDR-R10 Owner's Club

Just curious.  Where did you find that info? I only ask because I specifically recall from years ago, 2008-2009ish, someone did a lot of leg work digging in to this to determine if they indeed used the same driver and the conclusion was that it was not the same.  I'm not sure how far back the...

    Sony MDR-R10 Owner's Club

Highly doubt it.  At least I've never heard of such a thing.  Since they don't use the same drivers as the R10 I can't imagine so.

The Sennheiser Orpheus 2? A First Look At The Sennheiser HE-1 (The New Orpheus)

I'm just curious to know what it's like to own one of everything?  I imagine your word should be gospel on gear since you seem to own one of everything and can make comparisons instantly at any time. I know I don't speak for myself when I say I would...

The Sennheiser Orpheus 2? A First Look At The Sennheiser HE-1 (The New Orpheus)

Honestly the price disgusts me.  So much so that I will no longer purchase anything made by Sennheiser.  I truly love my HD800 but that's where my business with them ceases.  No ridiculous double priced HD800S and certainly no HE1060 that is nearly the price of a new BMW M4.  It's absolutely...

Did Sennheiser just reveal the Orpheus successor?

Apparently this nonsense is just going to keep on keeping on.

    Starting from scratch

I would think it's pretty obvious to buy the headphone before the headphone amp.  What would be the purpose of having an amp with nothing to plug in to it? Also, it would help a great deal if you finalized your decision with regards to which headphone you plan to purchase as that would...

    The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread

An excellent source and quality amplification are really the only things that will do the trick. Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm definitely not saying this in an insulting manner, but you're just not going to get there with mid-fi gear.  This isn't an issue relegated to you.  I...

New HD 800 very different than the old HD 800

Oh hey look at that.  Guess what company is NOT on the Sennheiser Authorized Dealers List?   Yup.  No Efinity, e-infinity, e-we promise to warranty your stuff, or whatever the hell they want to call themselves.  I'll throw you a cookie for "dealing with them for years" but good luck to you...

New HD 800 very different than the old HD 800

No chance in hell I would take that gamble especially coming from China.  I can't imagine they are an authorized Sennheiser dealer and their "warranty" is likely through them.  Good luck and have fun dealing with that if you live in the US and try to submit a warranty claim to a Chinese...

Did Sennheiser just reveal the Orpheus successor?

So I finally finished reading this thread from start to finish and this last post sums up the entire thing...and ironically current society as well.   No that info is NOT reliable.  Dr. Gilmore took a guess at MSRP and all of a sudden it's being regurgitated in this thread as gospel and...
