Ey, wait for them before buying an amp, I think that the Fiio A3/E11K made it better, but not much better, you may end up thinking that you don't need to buy an amp, or not liking them, and you'll have to spend the cash in another headphone.- altrunox

Well not yet. About the 662f, AFAIK they already have less bass than the 662 "normal", and velour pads usually reduce and modify a lot the bass area... I think the best idea would be buying some sort of leather pads, the issue is that they're expensive... although I guess most of them...- altrunox

Sort of really late eh, but how did you manage to open it? My cables died, and instead of buying a new one, I'll try to solder one directly to the driver, althought I don't know how I can open it without destroying the housing, thanks!- altrunox

Well, I would prefer a case, although I think this is sort of a product for the masses, I think some people may be dissapointed after opening the package and find that it don't come with an earphone...- altrunox

Uhnn interesting, before buying mine, more than one year ago, I read all the pages here and in the Superlux Evo thread and never found such problems, mine is still running fine, maybe they changed something to make it cheaper to produce, or a bad batch?
