The general opinion it seems is that  BA drivers are faster and provide better treble freq. response among other advantages etc... while Dynamic drivers are generally 'preferred' for their warm sound.   Most people think splitting up the driver duties between Low/mid/high freq. in IEMs...

Are there any full sized headphones with more than 1 driver? I see a lot of IEMs with 2,3,4 drivers and it makes a vast improvement for the sound. So why not full size headphones too? If anyone can enlighten me or knows of a headphone  thanks for the info!

Heres my GR07 Mk2 after about 6 months of use, notice the hint of blue hue on the cable, it started to changed color around the 4 month mark. But they still sound just as great!

Thanks for the info, For a cost free option, would it be safe to try and glue them back together? Looking at the pads, it doesn't even seem like they stitch the velour pads together, its just held together by glue. Maybe its worth a try?

My HD 595s foam padding came apart because of the humidity and long-term use (i have had these for for over 8 years) is there any way i can repair it without getting them professionally fixed? I contacted sennheiser but their quote was too expensive for me.

Well the thing is that if I plug in my sennheiser hd595 or pxc 450 there is no hiss at all and it is very nice playing piano and orchestral tracks. So maybe its not the android engine? Plugging in my um1s to my home reciver I also get the same amount of noise. Its an onkyo only about 3 yrs old...
