Resetting database worked very well. I thought I was going to have to format my card and drag 5 thousand songs back into the card. Thanks again.

I have 5,000 songs from my iTunes account that are all aac and I never had a problem. I filled my card after I formatted the card to fat 32 in the player.I removed the card from player and put it into my iMac and dragged and dropped iTunes songs.

Any reason not to bring in the new firmware update on the M11? Seems like mixed reactions to it in this thread. The pure music setting and the low dispersion short delay have peaked my interest but if they amount to nothing special I'm not going near it.
