The Onkyo wouldn`t make a big difference. You would get a larger device with more runtime and more power but that is all. The Sony is fine, if you like the sound!

Yes, you need a special player app. Android native supports only 44.1kHz/16bit.

The Onkyo has a different sounding than the Teac. The Fostex is more than two times more expensive. Until now i like the Onkyo. I also tried the Sony PHA-3 and the AudioTechnica PA100 but they are for more expensive and fail to deliver a lot more than the Onkyo.

I was at the IFA fair in Berlin yesterday and tried the A15 with the short Oppo DAC cable with every portable DAC i could find.   I can confirm that this combo works with every DAC i tried. I assume this combo works simply everytime.   I tried the following DACs: Sony PHA-3 Onkyo HA-200...

Are there more confirmed working DACs for the small Oppo cable? The Oppo HA-2 is sooo expensive in Germany.   Which DACs in the 300€ class are generally confirmed compatible? (either with the Sony cable, or the small Oppo cable.)

Not on the MediaGo website, you egt a ,essage in the MediaGo program.   It is not available ont he european websites yet, so we have to use MediaGo.

Yeah right. I read about it in the German Hifi Forum, and that it works after the first update. And i remember that it didn't work with 1.00. It will show the first song of "All songs".
