My E7 has finally arrived! I'm liking it right now with my sr60i with bowls from what I've heard so far. Haven't done a whole lot of listening and comparing yet, and I probably won't have much time since I have finals this week and next, but I will try to get it done.- Limberger

I too am wondering how grados sound with the E7. I'm intending on picking one up mainly for the DAC and the possibility of getting an E9 later. If I'm able to snag one shortly, I'll be sure to write about it.- Limberger

You're in my thoughts and prayers Bill. What sort of foam are you using for your bowls? I also have a question about liberated drivers in new shells. What is between your ear and driver? On the stock grados they have the plastic piece with the holes and white cloth on it.- Limberger

Being a student audiophile...
Optical Engineering student here. I know way too many MAE majors and I think their classes look atrocious. I find that I am one of very few at my university that cares about headphones. I wear my grados around campus everyday, and the most I have seen is a Sennheiser hd448 in my circuits...- Limberger

The Jaben alumod looks so tempting. If I had the tools and time, I would love to make my own shells, but alas, I am but a lowly college student. This is now going to drive me nuts for the next couple of weeks... I probably shouldn't have bookmarked the Jaben site...- Limberger

Fixed. Thank you very much! My roommate looked at me like I was crazy last night when I was putting the headphones in steamy water. He also wanted me to go Poseidon adventure just for the lulz. Needless to say I didnt let him get near what I was doing.- Limberger

Okay, so I opened up my sr60i's last night and punched 8 holes. When I went to put them back together though, I forgot which one was left and which one was right. Am i right in thinking that the blue and white are left and the red and blue are the right?- Limberger

Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones
Hah, oh my goodness, I have never seen anything like that before. I can only imagine what that would sound like. I'm already feeling this sickness. I keep telling myself that I am set for headphones right now and that I should just enjoy music now, but then I come on here and start seeing all...- Limberger

Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones
For Christmas my parents and my brother got me a pair of Grado SR60i's. Now, I go to University and live in the dorms so I also decided to buy the ATH M50s right after Christmas so I would have them for my dorm and for traveling. So the M50s arrive and I procede to open them up in the kitchen...- Limberger
