Had 'Grace' for years now and it's still one of my most listened-to CD's. Just bought the Legacy Edition last week. What a truly great album! The remastered 'Grace' is even clearer a recording than the original which was no slouch in that department either....

Rega Ear pehaps? Don't discount it because at less than $300 it's a 'cheaper' headamp. It punches above its weight in this regard. I use a Rega Ear at home with my HD650's and think the sound quality is quite something...

The Rega Ear shouldn't sound bad when used with the Emu 1212. From what I hear it's a great soundcard! (just hope your music files are ripped at high bitrates...) Still, I'm using my recently purchased Rega Ear with HD650's and a valve-hybrid CD source... I must say that the sound is...

'Danny the Dog' is ok but sounds like a typical OST. ie, works better within the context of the film. Not a great album. Mediocre at best...

Ditto Sigma The HD25's are an excellent pair of closed cans. I have the HD650's for late night listening at home... but when I'm on the go I prefer to use my HD25's over my ER6i's...

A set of cans that nicely falls into the category of 'portable, closed, good bass and high sensitivity' are the HD25's. (I noticed today that George Michael wears a pair in his latest video...)
