Sexiest headphones.
Haha If troll 10/10, IF NOT!!, I own headphones that cost literally 3 times those and headphones that cost much less than them. Anything and everything I have used or tried that can be considered headphones is 100% better. For god sakes, stock iPod headphones sounded better. I've used them at...- Guitarplayer876

Why are brands like Beats and skullcandy so popular and widely regarded as the "best" headphones?
Funny you say that, because a friend I know that owns the beats was so upset my beyerdynamic DT770 Pro (80) sounded a whole lot better than his beats, he sold them and bought some beyerdynamic DT770 Premium (32). BEYERDYNAMIC : 1 BEATS : 0- Guitarplayer876

Koss Porta-Pro's! I heard them at a friends house, and at the price (Less than 50 dollars) the sound quality was amazing.- Guitarplayer876

Post your NON-audiophile headphones! (As in non-regular head-fi headphones)
I have the skullcandy SK-PRO, which in all respect due to the fact skullcandy makes terrible headphones, these were actually satifying in the fact they beat the dre beats by a land slide. My AKG K240s and Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80 beat the SK-PRO by 2x over tho.- Guitarplayer876

Beyerdynamic DT 770 rattle in left ear - need amp?
I fixed them last night! . THE PROBLEM IS A HAIR ON THE ACTUAL DRIVER!. Ok. Step 1: Take earpad off. Step 2: Take plastic ring holding housing and the black pad off. Step 3: Remove the housing for the driver (thing with white paper stuff on it) by gently shaking and tapping on the earcup, catch...- Guitarplayer876

I love my bass more than you know So would the DT 990s be a good choice? Right now the DT770s.....lets just let this icon describe it : . I also enjoy the detail of the music out of them. People say senns and grados are for detail, I think the beyerdynamic really have a sound of their own, and...- Guitarplayer876

Apparently the DT 990s are a more refined version of the DT 770s. The bass is much calmer, mids creamier and the treble is bright and can be over-bearing for some, I have not heard the,, but from what people tell me, im convinced it is a very decent headphone.- Guitarplayer876

The M50 in-ear headphones correct? I really do not like in-ear headphones, in fact I detest them and the way they feel. I am wondering if i take a shot in the dark and get the "Darth Beyer" modification done to my headphones if it will improve them as much as I think it will, more meaty...- Guitarplayer876

The DT770-80 ohm are really nice for low-punchy bass, the DT770-250 ohm are much more refined and sound less relaxed, I reccomend the DT770-80 and do the "darth beyer" mod. Love my stock DT770 pro 80 though.- Guitarplayer876

Beyerdynamic T1: DIY 1/4 to Balanced XLR mod anyone?
I think if you have some skills in soldering and some patience, you could get the cable and solder the cable to the drivers, the positive-negative will most likely be marked on the driver, and/or with color-coded cable insulation. Plus the headphones are already dual-entry correct? I would go... -
Darth Beyer
I am also wondering about Darth Beyers. Defined treble, meaty, punchy midrange and lush exotic sounding bass to fall in love with. Words ive heard from people who use these modded.- Guitarplayer876

Beats by Dr. Dre vs. Sennheiser HD 485? Which One?
The beats ate my beyerdynamic dt770 pro 80 in bass and overall sound quality. Properly amped like a home reciever is an experiance. I am comparing these to beyerdynamic, get the beats for portable. Sennheiser HD650 for home audio amped.- Guitarplayer876

Beyerdynamic DT880: 2003 vs 2005 Versions plus AKG K701
How would anyone say the beyerdynamic dt990 compares with the AKG K701s vs the sennheiser HD-650s. I have a choice between it, and i prefer a balanced ,good all-around can as i will listen to everything from the hardest of metal to the soft sounds of bach and Beethoven. Also techno is a major...- Guitarplayer876
