Sounds like you should try an MDR-SA5000 or a HD650. SA5000 is quicker, cooler, less veiled and does vocals surprisingly well. HD650 is just a great all-rounder. I wouldn't recommend the HD600 - not enough fun, esp. if you enjoy the Grado. Or keep the Grado's and buy and HD600 or HD580 for...

iPod -> Stax SR-001. It's open, but it's got a beautiful airy sound, and the bass is just right for classical.
