What is your impression of the Fiio F9 pro? Is it neutral? And how is the sound compared to the GR07 u had?

It seems good for its price, but then and again its price is low, and is probably outclassed somewhat by the RE600 and Vsonic GR07 i mentioned?

I don't really recommend the 10R. The bass is horrible. Bloated and out of control. All mid bass thrown everywhere.

There is now a potential competitor around the price range of the SR80e actually. i personally find vocals to be a problem on the M50x actually. The mids are slightly recessed, so female vocals and powerful deep male vocals lack fullness and sound nasally due to the forward treble. But u can still hear them. At least they are clear to a certain extent.

Many DACs are PCM convergent, like the E17k, where they just convert DSD to another format, so if u want to hear your DSD files without conversion u should look elsewhere.

u should let it burn in. My M50x sounds nothing like that. An u should remember that the M50x is relatively cheap

Moreover, when it reaches Singapore, where I live, it will probably be the exact same price as it is in China, as with all other xiaomi phones. Benefits of living in an Asian country I guess.
