Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (Headphones, IEMs, Amps, DACs)

Hmm.. I might just start getting used to wearing IEMs cable up and buy an amp since I'm delving into this hobby :P   The ATH-IM70 is probably going to be a good bet for me then.. According to others, they respond better to background noise. I'm definitely still keeping my T1-E around though

Thanks for your informative reply! I'll definitely keep the B3 (and the B6) in my considerations.

Audio Technica ATH-IM70: A Bold New Direction

Nah, I got the T-Mobile version with the Qualcomm DAC :/ I have an audio mod on it though which probably contributes to the noise. The mod is worth it though, haha.

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

I'm thinking about buying these but.. I don't have an amp.. BUT.. my source, a Note 3, has an audio mod called Viper4Android. (If you don't already know, it lets you tweak the clarity, bass, surround effects, etc to sound).    The mod lets me increase the gain considerably. I don't know the...

    TTPOD T1 Tips Thread

I'm using Sennheiser medium double-flange tips. They're incredibly comfortable, and fit on the TTPODs perfectly.    http://www.ebay.com/itm/110976314037?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Audio Technica ATH-IM70: A Bold New Direction

Are you guys noticing any background hiss with these? The low 10 ohm impedance worries me.. My current IEM, the TTPOD T1-E, picks up all sorts of background noise from my Note 3, and it has an impedance of 12 ohms.

The IM70 does look pretty good, but is wearing them cable-down a possibility?

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (Headphones, IEMs, Amps, DACs)

Yea.. after looking at some reviews and at Wirecutter's reasoning, I've come to the conclusion that there are probably better IEMs to spend time and money on :)   I'm looking at the renowned Havi's as a minor upgrade from my T1-E. I don't have an amp for my source, a Galaxy Note 3, but I sorta...

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (Headphones, IEMs, Amps, DACs)

Does anyone know how the Sony XBA-H1 fares against any of the IEMs in this thread? They're $150 on Amazon, but a seller is selling some as open box returns on eBay for $50.. Just curious since someone on The Wirecutter decided to call them the best IEMs under $200...

Would either the KC06/KC06A Ostrys be a worthy upgrade from the T1-E? Or are they all too similar?

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (Headphones, IEMs, Amps, DACs)

Hey guys,    I've currently got a pair of TTPOD-T1Es, which sound pretty great but..    They're picking up a lot of background noise and hiss out of my source. (Samsung Galaxy Note 3) The noise is brought out probably by the various audio mods on my phone. Other than the hiss, they make the...

    TTPOD T1-E Impressions thread

It's a mix and match kind of thing, so I can pick any combination of 3 tips.   Alright, I guess I'll order 2 mediums and 1 large... Or maybe 1 medium, 2 large.    Thanks

    TTPOD T1-E Impressions thread

No not the colored ones.. The T1-E wide bore tips are either white or black colored and they're the alternatives to the set of narrow bore tips (the medium narrow-bore comes preinstalled on the buds)   I have the black version of the T1-E, so I'm currently using the black large wide-bore tips...

Thanks!    What sizes would you recommend me buying if I'm currently using the T1-E stock large wide-bore tips?

    TTPOD T1-E Impressions thread

I'm looking for a new pair of tips for my T1-E since the stock tips are making my ears a bit sore :(    Are these the Sennheiser double flanges you're using?
