    DHL warning

Most packages are insured internally. This way neither Singlepower or the customer need to deal with the shipping company. Since shipping companies are notorious for not honoring claims in a timely manner, it makes more sense to insure any loses or damage internally. This method guarantees the...

Extreme Performance! Introducing the new Singlepower Extreme Amplifier.

IMPORTANT ADMINISTRATOR NOTE: Before buying a Singlepower product, it might be helpful to first read through this thread (click here). Though the thread is long, possible issues with respect to product delivery/support might make a careful reading of that entire discussion very worthwhile if...

NYC Traditonal November Meet Saturday Nov. 12th

I should be in NYC for this one as well. Haven't missed a single NYC meet since the start. I seriously miss the good old Grado meets, but it's been fun at all of them! It'll be a quick 1 day trip for me. Quote: If it is a question about admission to the Scotch tasting party...the price...

The Summer 2005 Bay Area Meet at the Radisson Hotel San Jose Airport!!

I’d like to thank Sleestack for hosting one of the best Head-Fi meets I’ve ever attended. He truly went out of his way to make the Head-Fi members feel at ease. From the spacious main meeting room, well equipped with plenty of outlets and tables, to the first class “Hi-End” room upstairs...

Santa Rosa, CA mini meet 6.24.2005

How about a switchbox like this? It should work for A/B'ing balanced HP amps. You may need to put lead weights in the bottom to keep your IC's from lifting the box in the air .... I may just have a few of these lying around; I'll have to try one out as an A/B box tomorrow.

    K1000 + GS-1 = ???

The K1000's are actually rated at 1 Watt maximum. But, since this is at 120 ohms, and given that they're 74db/mw, they require a lot of voltage swing to sound good. You really only need about 0.350 W to get the K1000's to fairly loud levels, but remember that maximum voltage swing is what we...

Detroit Area Meet: Fri May 20 @ Wadia

I've just confirmed that I'll have a chance to come out to the meet. It's been a long time since the last Wadia meet. This is last minute planning due to our busy schedule. I look forward to seeing many familiar faces and new Head-Fi members. Thanks, Mikhail

    Happy Birthday Mikhail!!!

Thank you for the birthday well wishes. This year's birthday "weekend" was very special in that I was able to spend time with the many friends that I've made here at Head-FI. Thank you all again! Mikhail

Who else finds unplugging and plugging headphones annoying?

There's no need to power down the PPX3, or any other current production Singlepower amplifier, to switch headphones. Switching headphones can be done at any time. So, enjoy the headphone-rolling.
