A friend of mine sold me his Kickstarter unit because it doesn't support windows 7.

OK , this little thing sounds FANTASTIC.
Can't believe that sound.
It is way better than Dragonfly black - red , Cyrus key and other small portable dac amps.
I must confess that I am surprised by the sound signature.
I used it with Neutron player but it also works natively with Google music.
No drop outs or hiss or noise.
Perfect!

Cool, I don't think you'll be disappointed, listening to mine right now, even modern mqa tracks sound great.

I also bought mqa version and found this to be way superior to Meizu (not to mention the huge amount of interference using my note 9). Just bought another 2 more for my brother and friend

"Way superior"? Really?

I will comment on that for sure when I get the ztella but I don't believe it yet. According to audiosciencereview the Meizu DAC Pro ist outstanding and better than many much more expensive desktop DACs. I can only confirm that the much cheaper non-pro version is already really great.

Also, from what I read, people who compared the ztella wit the LG ESS phones (like V30 etc) still found the LG performance to be better. I compared the similar Meizu Pro 5 with the Meizu DAC non-pro and found them to be similarly good. Therefore it yois believehard for me to believe that statement.

Still hoping you are right though ;)

To all others, don't forget the Ztella costs 2-4 times the price of the Meizu dongles! I suggest you also check out the Meizu pro DAC review on audiosciencereview. The measurements were really good and it seemed to drive the Sennheiser HD650 effortlessly (!!!).

Could anyone who has the Ztella comment on such a capability concerning driving such harder to drive headphones?

What's really the point of your post?

Why don't you wait until you've actually heard it before starting comparing it to other dongles, it makes what you say a tiny bit more interesting. Sigh.......

I post it because I have doubts in that wording and I just gave some arguments.

Not more not less :)

Well, imo any wording however crazy it must be from someone that's actually heard the products they're talking about is of a lot more value than that of someone just guessing.

Actually I'm really tired of people making statements about things they haven't even heard (it's even a paragraph about this in the posting guidelines for this forum but I'd guess nobody cares) just to make a post. Or even worse, quoting other people's opinions, please use your own opinions or say nothing. What makes any other people's opinions more valuable than the ones you're questioning? It's just totally meaningless and ridiculous....

Both of you made very good "points" :P

But to be honest, is a reason to believe the measurements from ASR ate wrong?

Aside from that, I know that measurements are not everything and I am pretty sure most people know that either.
