I absolutely love the combination, they were made for each other! I’ve rolled the 6SN7 and rectifiers, waiting on some new 300b, had a problem with the wrong address, shipped back to China, now waiting for them to surface somewhere.

From what I've heard on the grapevine, the ECP T4 is going to be an amazing amp. Might want to wait a bit and see what reviews say on that one. First production units should be shipping very soon.

Day 4 - the Verite is beginning to open up, clarity has improved tremendously and the bass is hitting harder now, with speed. Had a very enjoyable Sat night listening to rock bands that I shy away from on my HE1000SE and which are normally reserved for my LCD2C. Time to pour another shot, happy ears

It is such a punchy and fun sounding amp. I think it pairs very well with Verite's speed and tone, especially if you're used to the Auteur or Eikon's impactful bass. It brings the Verite more in line with that without losing control of the Verite speed. I'd say it's a very good synergy if you're looking for fun in the rock, blues, metal, and edm genres.

Best part is, going pre-owned or B-stock on the DAC and amp, it cost less than $700.


... Ok, I bought Amprex tubes for it, so less than $800.
